Heather Monthie, PhD, CFI has over 20 years of experience as a leader in STEM education. She has been a manned aircraft pilot since 1997 and a flight instructor since 2002. She is the founder of Educators Who Drone, a global community of teachers, parents, pilots, and STEM education advocates passionate about bringing drones into education. She also has a YouTube channel, "Drone Pilot Basics." Passionate about helping others learn more about the intersection of aviation and technology, Heather has dedicated much of her career to getting more young people interested in the STEM fields. She also runs a digital marketing services agency that supports drones and other technology-related businesses.
