Didem Gurdur
PhD in Mechatronics
Didem Gürdür received her undergraduate degree in graphics design and computer engineering. Then, she received M.Sc. degree on sustainable environment and energy systems. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Mechatronics Division. She is the course coordinator of research methodologies course, in addition to be teacher in advanced mechatronics project courses and supervising several bachelor’s and master’s theses in mechatronics and robotics domains.
Her current research interest includes methodologies and methods of interoperability assessment, data analytics, knowledge discovery, information visualization, visual analytics, and sustainability for cyber-physical systems. She is guest editor of the Designs—Open Access Engineering Design Journal and technical program committee member of IEEE SoSE and ALLDATA conferences. She is PADI professional divemaster, photographer and drone enthusiast. Nowadays, she is counting days to visit Iceland with her drones and take photos of her favorite land.
