I am a film & photography artist with a weakness for chocolate ice cream. My work explores multi-faceted identities. Growing up with Chinese, Pacific islander and Western influences I melted my own culture together. Faced with bullying as a teen, I became an advocate for LGBT youth by organizing inclusive pride events. Learning from that experience, I created a film festival, Austin Indie Fest, to empower women becoming filmmakers in my community. Equal parts science and history lover, I'm researching women that have been overlooked in scientific innovation, daily life, and throughout time.
